On International Women’s Day, We Do It Together, in collaboration with the City of Turin and the Piedmont Region, lit up the sky with 40 women from around the world, filling Turin’s night with stars. The I Am/Io Sono campaign aims to challenge the culture of women’s objectification in media by fostering a new culture of female empowerment. This cinematic call reminds us of the values women stand for and how they wish to be represented—from I Am a Dreamer by Chiara Tilesi, to I Am Empowered by Alejandra Jackson, and I Am Relentless by Diane Warren, just to mention a few. 40 women from the worlds of film, entertainment, and art joined forces to shape a new representation of women—one where I Am is at the center of the narrative.
