honor of March 8 and Women’s Day , the Embassy of Italy in the United States presents a preview of the first season of One of Us , a short documentary which narrates the life paths of (extra)ordinary Italian women , who have distinguished themselves in diverse sectors such as cinema, publishing, finance, arts, philanthropy, diplomacy and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
Behind this beautiful women empowerment initiative, the first female ambassador Mariangela Zappia of the Italian Embassy in the USA, the consul Silvia Chiave of the General Consulate of Italy in Los Angeles , the Italian Cultural Institutes of Washington DC and Los Angeles and the producer Chiara Tilesi .

One of Us – East Coast. This is the name of the first season of the short documentary which will be premiered on March 8 at the Italian Embassy in Washington and will be screened on the Italian Embassy’s YouTube channel .
